Large queues lined along Windmill Street in Peterhead last night, as the first batch of tickets for this year’s “Live on the Links” went on sale. Despite gloomy skies overhead, the crowd were in buoyant mood as doors to Coast Radio opened at 6:00pm at the start of ticket sales.
This years event, the second edition of “Live on the Links” is sponsored by JBS Group, AM Campbell, Aquatic and Coast Radio. It is due to take place on the West Links (in the heart of the Bloo Toon) on Wednesday 24th July, with the gates opening at 6:00pm.
Headlining the event will be the ever popular Red Hot Chilli Pipers supported by local talent Catriona Molver, DJ Dav of Flowtation Music, country singer Hannah Anders – and chart topping legend, Heather Small, the voice of M People.
A full list of Terms & Conditions is attached below and ticket holders are encouraged to read the terms before booking tickets – tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The organisers stress that individuals only purchase tickets through the channels directed by Peterhead Scottish Week and not to fall victim to scams by attempting to purchase tickets through social media or WhatsApp.
Further tickets are on sale today from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Coast Radio [former OAP Social Club, 21 Windmill Street] and at West End Butchers from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Online tickets for “Live on the Links” are on sale from Saturday 6th July (tonight) at 6:00pm via Eventbrite (search Peterhead Scottish Week).
Tickets for all other Peterhead Scottish Week events are also on sale tonight – but from 8:00pm – via Eventbrite. Some third party organised events will have its own ticket outlets that are not controlled by the Peterhead Scottish Week team, such as ‘Peterhead Brickmania’.
